Pedro Juan Gutiérrez

Pedro Juan Gutiérrez (Matanzas, Cuba, 1950) began to work at the age of 13 selling ice-creams and newspapers. Then he also worked as a soldier, farmer, laborer, radio speaker and journalist until 1998, when he first published in Spain Trilogía sucia de La Habana, which immediately became an international success.
