Carlos Lechuga

Carlos Lechuga (Havana, 1983) is a Cuban screenwriter and film director. He has written for different media outlets for several years, and his articles have been included in several anthologies. His chronicles about censorship, police persecution, and Havana nights have gained the loyalty of many readers around the world. His feature films Melaza, Santa y Andres, and Vicenta B have been presented at important film festivals such as San Sebastián, Toronto, and Rotterdam, and they have received multiple international prizes. The MoMA, ARCO Madrid, and the Reina Sofía museums have also showcased his work.
