Que no me miren
Ricardo Silva Romero

PICTURE BOOK | 2011 | 58 pages

A playful way to learn the alphabet through the story of a shy boy who has to face his biggest fear: The first day of school.

Gregorio is a shy boy. His first day of school is a huge challenge. And on top of it all, he gets there late. Gregorio feels as if he disappears while minutes go by and he is forced to interact with his teacher and classmates.

In a playful manner and using the letters of the alphabet to structure his story, Ricardo Silva Romero recounts the first minutes Gregorio spends in his classroom. The narrative’s introspective gaze allows the reader to accens Gregorio’s inner world.
