The devil is on the loose in Medellín—he's handsome and a good dancer. A man falls seven stories because of an imaginar bullet, Santa Claus drinks aguardiente before going to the supermarket. A city is suddenly covered in a reeking smell emanating from its books.
In these eleven stories, Luis Miguel rivas uses a sort of luminous darkness to show the paradoxical world or characters that oscillate between destruction and life, between bullets and love. What at first sight is a collection of marginal characters is, in fact, a unique look at what we could call life itself, that is, a life where the best and the worst occur one after the other and often at the same time.
