Alberto Fuguet will be at the Miami Film Festival presenting his latest film, a documentary on Francis Ford Coppola's Rumble Fish.
A quick synopsis: Acclaimed Chilean author, journalist, film critic and filmmaker Alberto Fuguet (The Movies of my Life, Música Campesina) brings to the big screen a unique and personal audiovisual tribute to his favorite film, Francis Ford Coppola’s Rumble Fish. With the feel of a dyed-in-the-wool fanzine, Fuguet travels to Oklahoma in search of all locations where Coppola shot the misty scenes of his memorable masterpiece. Fuguet explains the importance of the narrative and its characters like Rusty James, Steve, and The Motorcycle Boy, to show how Rumble Fish had impacted his life and his work from the moment he laid eyes on it. The documentary also traces the accounts of other filmmakers from the South American region that were positively affected by Coppola’s genius.
