Luis Miguel Rivas

Luis Miguel Rivas (Cartago, Colombia, 1969) is a writer, scriptwriter and audiovisual producer. He has collaborated with SoHo and El Malpensante magazines as well as the newspapers El Espectador, El Colombiano and Universo Centro. In 2011 the Guadalajara Book Fair named him one of the "25 Best Kept Secrets of Latin America." He lives in Buenos Aires.

Rivas has his own way of looking at things and his own way of telling them. He shows them to us with ternderness, humor and rage. And has the gift of knowing how to tell things with new words.
